Cato – karagai

Katon-Karagai State National Park is the largest national park in Kazakhstan. Its area exceeds half a million hectares. Katon-Karagay is located in the most picturesque region of Southern Altai and, being in Kazakhstan, borders on one side with Russia and on the other with China. About 30 species of animals and birds listed in the Red Book live in Katon-Karagay. In 2014, the park was included in the UNESCO list of specially protected heritage sites. And these are just some of the reasons why you should definitely visit this extraordinary corner of the planet. An excellent opportunity to visit an ecologically clean area with picturesque nature, rich flora and fauna. Fans of active leisure are offered hiking and horseback riding routes through the national park, recreational fishing, and visits to panto hospitals, apiaries, and guest houses.
